About us...
Located between historic Sackets harbor and scenic
Henderson Harbor on the eastern basin of Lake
Ontario, Bedford Creek Marina & Campground combines
a well-sheltered, full-service marina and a 190-site
campground. There is plenty to do at Bedford Creek,
such as relax or swim on our private beach, or play
on the playground, basketball, or volleyball court.
We rent boats, motors, kayaks and canoes for water
enthusiasts. Gas, bait, and tackle are all on site, so
you wont have to travel far for your boating and
fishing needs. Our camp store also offers groceries,
boat and RV supplies, and we service your boat on
site if you need that as well. If you dont own an RV,
we have park models, RVs or camper cabins for rent
as well.
Across the road is a very nice 9-hole golf course and country club. Just a few miles away by road or water is the famous Sackets Harbor where the War of 1812 was begun and is re-enacted each year. A short distance away in the opposite direction is the picturesque Henderson Harbor. Both Sackets and Henderson are well known for their fine restaurants where you can enjoy a quiet dinner or an evening out on the town. The Pizza Shack sits right on the campground property, providing one of the areas top choices for delivery or pick-up.
Even though you will be staying in a country setting, a short ten-minute drive will take you to the shopping areas of Watertown, which includes the Salmon Run Mall. There are also numerous antique and craft shops, as well as museums throughout the area.
If fishing is what you are after, Bedford Creek has
fishing for the whole family to enjoy! The eastern
end of the lake has always been well known for the
abundant smallmouth bass and yellow perch, while
the lake is also home range to the large, hard
fighting northern pike. Largemouth bass and trophy
walleye lure many fisherman to these waters, and
national tournaments are held locally each year. Of
course Lake Ontario is best known for its trout and
salmon fishing that is well within reach of our
